Background:

Origin is preparing to resume its Beetaloo Exploration Project activities this year. Specialised scopes of work for the drilling and completion activities have been tendered and awarded and Origin now seeks to host an information and networking session in Darwin.

An opening presentation will be provided by Ed Wong, Drilling and Completions Project Manager for Beetaloo and Growth Assets, Origin Energy - followed by an introduction to some of Origin's awarded contractors who will have representatives attending the event.

Contractor Introductions:

The event is designed to offer an update on the project, provide contractors an opportunity to outline their involvement in the project and to facilitate introductions between the NT business sector, awarded contractors and Origin.

Origin will also continue to work with local industry organisations and the NT Government to identify capability within the NT and maximise opportunities for local contracts and employment through the Origin Beetaloo Exploration Project.

Following the presentations, drinks and canapes will be provided for guests to further facilitate an opportunity to network with other guests. Please advise any special dietary requirements on registration.

Please note - similar events and opportunities to meet with Origin will be provided regionally in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek in July.

Energy Club NT's Meet the Buyer event will also be held in the opening of NT Resources week in September providing direct opportunities for engagement with a range of operators and contractors.
