Energy Club NT is offering a unique opportunity to travel to the EDL Jabiru Hybrid Renewable Power Station for a sunset site tour.

The Jabiru Hybrid Renewable Power Station delivers sustainable energy for the remote township, as the community transitions from its mining legacy to its future as a tourism and services hub.

The hybrid renewable power station integrates 3.9MW solar generation and a 3MW/5MWh battery, with 4.5MW diesel generation to balance sustainability with reliability.

The power station provides Jabiru with at least 50% renewable energy over the long term—contributing to the Northern Territory’s 2030 50% renewable energy target.

We will travel to the Hybrid Renewable Power Station with CDC Northern Territory by coach and have dinner and refreshments onsite before commencing a tour of the facility and watch as the Power Station switches from solar power to diesel power at sunset, then travel back to Darwin.

EDL is also generously providing all attendees with a small gift of thanks.

Tickets include:

Coach transfers from Darwin Convention Centre to Jabiru and return, light meal onsite and refreshments.
