Join us for our September Industry Networking Dinner

scheduled to take place on the same week as NT Resources Week

The Northern Territory is uniquely positioned to be the site for the development of a low-emissions Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) hub, with CSIRO working on a business case to identify the options for its development. The region’s extensive geological formations, ideal for CO2 storage, coupled with existing infrastructure, make it an ideal location for this venture. This hub could significantly reduce emissions for industries such as LNG and mining, aligning with Australia’s climate commitments and providing a critical pathway for these sectors to remain competitive.

The CCUS hub could offer substantial economic benefits, attracting both domestic and international investment. By providing a secure method of carbon sequestration, it may support industries in meeting decarbonization goals while fostering technological innovation in carbon utilization. The project will identify economic growth opportunities that could lead to the creation of high-skilled jobs .

We will hear from a panel of industry experts from CSIRO to share their insights and vision for a Northern Territory Low Emissions Hub including, Dr. Andy Ross, Jody Rogers , Dr. David Green and Dr. Mark Tocock. Our panel will be facilitated by Industry Consultant, Simon Flowers.

Tickets include 2 course dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks

Tables of 8 are available.
